Exemplary Customer Service in Our Schools

This 90 minute Key2Ed workshop presents ideas/concepts on creating a welcoming culture while serving education’s customers and how to provide exemplary service to them. Participants explore best practices in customer service and discuss how to utilize and adapt these practices to education at the district and school levels.

Communication tools, activities, and ideas will be presented to enable district staff (all educators and classified staff) to develop lasting positive relationships with each other, families, students, and the surrounding community. This training is limited to 30 participants.

 

Experience

All Key2Ed instructors have at least 20 years of special education experience including in the classroom. We know what you need – because we’ve been there.

More and more school systems are focusing efforts on building maintaining relationships, both within the school system and with families and other community organizations.

What's involved in this workshop?

This one-day Key2Ed workshop presents ideas/concepts on how a district can implement and sustain a welcoming and positive culture while serving education’s customers (students and families), and how we can provide exemplary service to them. Workshop leaders will present examples of exemplary customer service practices, and discuss how these can be implemented in any school district.

Are there activities or is this a one-day lecture?

Communication tools, activities, and ideas will be presented to assist all district staff in developing lasting positive relationships with each other and with families, students, and the surrounding community. The workshop employs a PowerPoint presentation, large and small group discussions, personal reflection activities, and small group simulations based on actual school situations.

Who attends this workshop?

Any school district staff member will benefit from attending this workshop. This includes school board members, district administration, operations, classroom teachers, special education and ancillary staff.
